Wow, it has been a year since I last posted anything. There were some things that went on at home that kept me from logging on, but I don't think anyone was reading this, so I don't think it matters anyways.
I have changed somethings about my blog in 2009. No more movies. I am over that. I get over things easily, so people who know me should not be surprised at that. I am also just going to write whenever I feel like it. I think before I wrote like everyday or something. No more. That was kind of crazy and stupid. Now, I will just write every once in a while. Right now I'm just going with the flow. We will see how things go...
So, 2008, yeah, no the best year ever for the world, but it was okay for me.
Jan - school, blah
Feb - more school, blah, and sad (single awareness day), blah
Mar - school, but SPRING BREAK!!! Visited Austin and chilled.
Apr - school. BDAY!, work (i still worked at the water park - on weekends - but I worked in the office, inside, away from the sun)
May - school, more work
Jun - finals, brother graduated, WORK
Jul - WORK!! and summer literature camp at UD with the coolest 4 girls I have ever met!
Aug - work, school, missing camp, Facebook, Dane Cook, Pandora
Sep - school, one week of work, sending my brother off to UT and getting the car to myself
Oct - school, not really missing my brother (unlike my mom), ap chem starts to kill me
Nov - school, visiting my brother at UT then him coming one week later for Thanksgiving (I don't even know), break, Twilight movie!!, a horrible first date that I don't even want to remember
Dec - school, ap chem is in full swing kill-mode, CHRISTMAS!, an actual social life for the first time (yayayay!)
So, that was my year in review. If there is anything you really want to hear about, leave a comment. I don't think anyone will though, so if somthing interesting happens in the next few days (nothing will), be prepared to hear about that.
Have a wonderful Sunday and safe week.

Catt

Fighting Breast Cancer and Saving 2nd Base
I just got back from cheering at a cheer station at the Breast Cancer 3-Day in Dallas. Those women (and a few men) walked from Fort Worth all the way to SMU in Dallas. That is 60 miles!!! I just went and cheered on the corner of Greenville and something else. We were right down the street from the Granada theater and across the street from Corner Market (the best sandwiches in town according to D Magazine) for anyone who knows Dallas. Seeing all those women and all that pink and those people who have gone through so much really touched me. My aunt had a breast cancer scare last Christmas, but luckily it was only a scare. I can't imagine what I would do if she were seriously affected by breast cancer.
I got the title of this blog from some women wearing t-shirts with 2 baseballs on them and read "Saved 2nd Base". There was a man walking whose shirt read "I heart Boobs" - just like the I heart NY shirts. There were some very funny shirts and sayings. My cheer station was chanting, "Don't rest, save those breasts!!" There was one elderly man who came up to me and my friends and said, "You know, we are doing this for you." That really got to me. I was so humbled by the whole experience. I can't wait until next year when we do this again. Eventually, I would like to walk in it myself, but I need to come up with the money. Maybe it will happen in 10 years.

Numero Uno

I'm so excited!!!! This is my very first post on my very first blog. What to write about...... First off, I'm a high school student in the Dallas area. Dallas is beyond cool. It has a little bit of everything. Great food, great shopping, great sights, and great entertainment. I also knit, so expect to see some projects every once in a while, but not too often. I'm not like those people who obsess of knitting probably because I'm not that good. I can really only knit scarves and rectangles. Maybe I will knit something just to show you guys.
I hope this you guys some info about me. By guys I mean the people who have nothing better to do than spend all day surfing the web reading pathetic blogs from high school students. I doubt anyone will read this, but that makes it all better. Than I can write anything I want without the fear of anyone seeing what I wrote.
By the way, I don't have a MySpace. I think they are highly overrated, but I mostly don't have one because my dad is a super genius and blocked MySpace and YouTube from my computer and I haven't figured out how to unlock it.
Talk later - going to the new Ross in town with my sister,

BTW: I'm only writing at 2:00pm because I had no school today because I got off for Fair Day. Fair Day is a day where the school district gives all its students free tickets to the State Fair of Texas at Fair Park. The only think to do at the Fair though is eat and trust me, I don't need to eat any more fried food. And its Columbus Day.
